VILLA BLACK WINGS

The name  Villa black wings, of course, is a fictional name.
Inside, in a sumptuous double bedroom, complete with a red velvet canopy, black wings can be found hidden in a wardrobe, probably used for some photographic sets.

But in reality Villa black wings is called Villa M. and takes its name as often happens from its owner Giovanni Pietro M.

This well-known entrepreneur died in 1893, and among his works we find the construction of the port of La Spezia and the Cavour Canal, as well as many railway sections.

In 1850, in a park full of centuries-old trees, Villa black wings was built.
The surface it covers is huge!
2500 square meters and within the property we can also find streams, an artificial cave, the caretaker’s house, a fish shop and stables.

In the park you can still see what was once a magnificent pond, at the time enriched with water features and an artificial cave built in 1888.

The villa is built on an artificial terrace supported by huge stone arches.
It has three floors connected to each other by a truly impressive yet elegant staircase, all made with the famous Carrara marble.
